One of the tastiest meals I’ve had in a while. Had 3 courses and each course was lovely. As we were staying overnight there, we had the breakfast too which was also nice. Room was clean and cosy. Service was fantastic. A great place, couldn’t recommend enough.

Booked last minute for the restaurant as we needed a change from where we were staying. Very accommodating to get us in with 20 mins notice. The food was fantastic, I had the Lamb Shoulder and my wife had the Beef. Both were cooked and presented to perfection. I also tried the Apple and Cinnamon crumble with custard. Yummy. The staff in the bar and restaurant took time out to speak to us and were very very friendly. One of the best places I’ve eaten at in a long time. Highly recommended. Wish we’d found the place earlier on a weekend break away.

I enjoyed visiting The Pheasant Inn for Sunday lunch. The staff at this traditional country pub were welcoming and we were seated in a rustic snug with tools and other implements displayed on the walls. I ordered roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, which was doused in a rich gravy, with roast potatoes and a bowl of vegetables and then sticky toffee pudding. The food was good.

Ate here 4 nights ago. The lamb dish and the accompanying red wine jus was one of the best dine out experiences I’ve had. The cooking was just exquisite. The dessert was a 10/10 as well. Pity the front of house staff refused our request of having the fire on in our dining area. Said there was already one on next door, but we weren’t sitting next door, were we. It was a cold night and the hospitality fell a little short for me.

We shared a fantastic Sunday lunch here. Brilliant staff excellent food. Great atmosphere. I've dined here whenever in the area over the last 36 years and never been disappointed. Keep it up 😀👍

Very lovely place to stay. Excellent food in the pub. The breakfast was superb! Price is decent. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, heating is generous and free wifi.

A beautiful family run country pub close to Northumberland National Park. The bar and restaurant are welcoming and cosy. The modern rooms are in an annex so it's easy to come and go as you please. The food was excellent at dinner and breakfast with great service. A real gem!

We called in after a visit to Kielder Observatory, and got a warm welcome, great service and a piping hot, great tasting meal. Given 6 of us arrived without prior booking close to the kitchen closing, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area in need of good pub grub.
